The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control also known as NCDC has recorded 838 new COVID-19 cases in Nigeria as of today. In recent times, there has been a high number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria and that shows that the second wave of COVID-19 is here again. Would there be a third wave?
As of yesterday, 297 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in FCT, 253 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Lagos, 82 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Plateau, 57 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Kaduna, 32 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Katsina, 31 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Nasarawa, 25 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Kano, 24 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Gombe, 8 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Oyo, 8 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Rivers, 7 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Zamfara, 4 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Ogun, 4 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Bauchi, 4 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Edo, 1 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Anambra, and 1 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Sokoto.

With that, we now have 84,414 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 71,034 discharged cases of COVID-19, 1254 deaths from COVID-19.
