The Chairman for Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has finally reacted to the arrest of Omah Lay and Tems. She has reacted to this on her Twitter handle following the popular #FreeOmahLay #FreeTems.
Today on Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s Twitter page, she replied to some Nigerians who claimed the fact that the Government has not been doing anything to the arrest of Omah Lay and Tems. See Screenshots of the replies she made below.
With the tweets as seen above, some other musicians like Omah Lay have helped in seeing that Omah Lay is being freed from Uganda Police. Other musicians like Runtown and Peter Okoye has helped in seeing that Omah Lay must be freed. Not only musicians in Nigeria, but other citizens of Nigeria.
With that, Abike Dabiri-Erewa has assured Nigerians that they are looking into the matter and they would do everything in their power to free these two musicians. In one of the retweets of Abike to Omah Lay above, she tweeted, “Everything possible is being done to get you out.”
In conclusion, we all hope that Omah Lay and Tems are freed from the Ugandan Police again. What do you think about this situation? Please let us know in the comment section below.
