The Ooni Of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi has made known that he has forgiven Sunday Igboho for the insults he tendered against him. The Ooni of Ife has already disclosed that he is strongly in support of Sunday Igboho, but he warned him to watch his back so that people with ulterior motives will not hijack his movement.

The Ooni of Ife didn’t actually disclose this himself, but the Media Aide to the Ooni, Moses Olafare was the one who disclosed this on Thursday. He made known that the Ooni of Ife has accepted his apology.

Recalling that Sunday Igboho accused the Ooni of Ife of disappointing the Yoruba People when he visited the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari over the herdsmen crisis in the South-West region. Igboho also called the Ooni different kinds of names, but now he has been forgiven.

From the words of the Media Aide to Ooni of Ife, Moses Olafare said,

Sunday Igboho still remains a son to the Ooni. Baba has already forgiven him because he has tendered an apology via a video clip he produced via social media yesterday. The royal father could not bicker with any of his sons even in the face of quantum of provocations.

Sunday Igboho thereafter released the video in which he tendered his apology. Even though the way and manner Sunday had behaved was sacrilegious to the Oduduwa throne, he has already apologized and I can confirm that the Arole Oodua has forgiven him.

He has forgiven him because there is no perfection in humanity. Sunday is a human being like any other normal human being who could misbehave as well. No one is perfect!

As the father of all, the Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula remains his father who had even identified with him in the past two weeks he had begun with the struggle and he is still solidly behind him for the liberation of the Yoruba’s from Criminal Herdsmen who have adamantly terrorized our land.

Just that he must watch his back so that people with ulterior motives will not hijack his movement.”

Finally, it’s right and good for continuous peace in the south-west that the Ooni of Ife has now forgiven Sunday Igboho for what he did recently to him.
