Chelsea strolled through a comfortable victory against Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals as goals from Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell made sure that the London side head into the second leg with the advantage of having 2 away goals.
Many would argue that Chelsea has one leg in the Champions League semi-finals but Jorginho has warned his teammates not to expect strolling through the second leg.
“We are all happy with this first result but for the second game we need to stay humble, we don’t need to think that we have the advantage because it would be a big mistake.
We need to stay calm and focused because it is not easy if we do that mistake, we can be in trouble so we need to stay calm, be humble, work hard again, knowing that Porto is a very good team and we need to respect them,” Jorginho said.
Chelsea scored the first goal against Porto through Mason Mount, who executed a sharp turn of his body to escape his man before finishing expertly beyond the Porto goalkeeper. Ben Chilwell scored a late second after a long cross was defected towards his path, putting him through on goal as he rounded the goalkeeper before tapping into the empty net.
