Former Aviation Minister in Nigeria, Femi Fani-Kayode seems to have made his secret decisions in joining the All Progressive congress as Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has made this announcement in a brief conference he had today.
Governor Bello explained today the fact that he is welcoming the APC’s brother, Femi Fani-Kayode into the party back again. Governor Bello also recalled the fact that FFK (Femi Fani-Kayode) was a foundational member of the All Progressive Congress.
Governor Bello continued as he revealed the reason why FFK left APC. He said it was due to some misunderstanding that he left the APC sometimes back.
In Governor Yahaya Bello’s words, he said,
“Our brother and friend, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has joined our party in good faith. He is joining our party to come and add his positive energy and make a contribution to ensuring that APC is a party to beat.
“Remember that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode was a foundation member of this great party, APC. Due to misunderstandings, he decided to port elsewhere. Now, he has decided to join our party.
”He approached me and by the mandate given to me by the party, I must not segregate, I must not discriminate against any person or individual.
“Even if he has his different opinion about the party before, about the government before, he has seen the light, the reality and the need to join the All Progressive Congress. It is just nice, it is just important, it is just smooth and very, very sweet to accommodate and welcome Chief Femi Fani-Kayode.
“Remember that this party does not belong to one individual. It belongs to all Nigerians. You are free to join. We will welcome you with our arms wide open.”

Finally, it seems to be true that FFK has now joined the All Progressive congress because for a Governor to come out boldly to say this, it probably means it’s true.
Can FFK really go back to APC after he has called the APC all sorts of names including The Almajiri’s People Party?
