Popular Disk Jockey known as DJ Switch has finally broken her silence as she has thrown shades and expressed her sad feelings on the whole way the Nigerian Police are arresting its citizens for the peaceful protest which is one of the rights of a Nigerian as a citizen.
With that, popular Disk Jockey in Nigeria and also #EndSARS protester, DJ Switch has expressed her frustrations on the Governor Of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
With that, DJ Switch has taken to her Instagram page to express her frustrations as she throws a heavy shade on Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
DJ Switch shared her frustrations on Sanwo-Olu through her social media page, Instagram. DJ wrote in her words,
“Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the youths you and your puppet masters are trying to oppress, silence, and kill are the ones that put this country on the world map!
“If you hired some instead of the old heads you have, one may have advised you that this would have been the best time to correct a mistake or at least seize the opportunity to back up your previous lies by saying that the newly washed uniforms on the streets are there to protect protesters and also given a speech to say you are acting swiftly to make sure ‘hoodlums’ don’t hijack the protest and ‘destroy’ Lagos making you look cool, but you are not!!!
“Instead, what you have done is show you and your government are the hoodlums that hijacked the last one like you are doing this one. BTW, thank you for providing evidence of abuse of power, abuse of human rights, and criminal intent by violating the law of the constitution to the right of expression.”
With this, DJ Switch seems to be disappointed by the Governor Of Lagos State with this her statement. At the end of her statement, she sadly and angrily thanked Governor Sanwo-Olu for providing concrete evidence of him abusing power, abusing the human rights of the people, and for him to violate the law of the constitution to the right of expression of the people.
Finally, it’s obvious that the Nigerian Government and the Lagos State Government have collected it’s right from their citizens. They now seem to be ruling like the Military Era. It now looks like there’s no longer democracy in this country Nigeria.
What’s your take on this whole issue of the Government collecting the citizen’s right of expression?
