On this day, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control known better as NCDC has recorded 749 New Cases Of COVID-19. The number of COVID-19 cases seems to have increased, unlike yesterday COVID-19 positive cases which seem to be lesser than this day’s own.

From the information from the NCDC’s Facebook page, 299 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Lagos, 131 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Plateau, 83 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Kaduna, 74 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in FCT, 35 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Kwara, 26 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Sokoto, 18 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Edo, 17 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Kano, 16 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Katsina, 11 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Delta, 10 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Nasarawa, 9 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Ondo, 9 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Bauchi, 5 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Rivers, 3 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Akwa Ibom, 1 new case of COVID-19 were confirmed in Jigawa, 1 new case of COVID-19 were confirmed in Osun, 1 new case of COVID-19 were confirmed in Ekiti.

With that, Nigeria now records 85,560 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since it began. Nigeria also records 71,937 new cases of COVID-19 since it began, and then 1,267 deaths since it began.

Now, the total number of active, positive, and confirmed cases in Nigeria that are still receiving treatment currently is 12,356.
