Chelsea and Manchester United have been given a huge boost in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund wonder boy Erling Haaland. Haaland is unarguably one of the brightest prospects in the world of football as he has already scored 17 goals in 14 games for Dortmund this season.
Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola has handed Chelsea and Manchester United a huge boost in the pursuit of the Norwegian international after he denied any talks or agreement on a potential transfer with Barcelona presidential candidate Emili Rousaud.
Joseph Maria Minguella, who is the presidential aide of Emili Rousaud earlier stated that they have made contact with Raiola and the Norwegian would be a Barcelona player if Rousaud is elected. However, this was denied by Mino Raiola as he stated that no contact has been made to him regarding Erling Haaland.
“Fake news. I have never talked to any presidential candidate of Barcelona regarding Haaland and I won’t do that.
If there would be a new president elected in January, he can call me,” Raiola said.
Raiola’s denial of any contact from Barcelona gives Chelsea and Manchester United a huge boost as they have been in pursuit of the services of the Norwegian internet for a while now. Haaland has a release clause of £65million in his contract but it would not come into effect until June 2022.
